Privacy Policy

In effect from 8 August 2026 · version 2026-08-14

This policy explains what happens to the details submitted through this site. It is written to be read, not to be long.

1. Who is responsible

The database owner and controller is Maor Shalem ("SHALEM — Real Estate & Architectural Photography").

For privacy matters: +972 54-425-7581, maor65456@gmail.com.

2. Providing your details is voluntary

There is no legal obligation to provide these details, and no one is required to do so. They are given voluntarily and with consent.

Without a name and a way to reach you it is simply not possible to reply — that is the only reason those two fields are required.

3. What is collected

From the form: name, phone, and optionally email and details about the property.

Evidence of consent: the time consent was given, the version of these documents then in force, and whether separate marketing consent was ticked.

Technical data: the site's infrastructure providers record server-log data such as IP address, browser type and request time. This is standard operational and security logging; it is not used for profiling or to identify visitors.

What is not collected: the site has no analytics platform, no social media pixels, and no cross-site tracking.

4. Why it is collected

To get back to you, understand what the property needs, and prepare a quote.

To manage the engagement if one is formed, and to keep the business records required of a business.

The information is not sold, not rented, and not passed to third parties for marketing.

5. The basis for using it

The consent given when the form is submitted, together with legal obligations that apply to a business.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of use made before it.

6. Who it is shared with

The information is stored and processed by infrastructure providers, solely to run the site:

Vercel — hosting and running the site, including server logs.

Neon — the database where enquiries are stored.

Resend — delivery of the email notifying of a new enquiry.

Vercel Blob — storage of the site's image files. Enquiries are not stored there.

Beyond these, information is disclosed only where required by law or by order of a competent authority.

Fonts are served from this site's own server rather than from Google Fonts — browsing the site sends no request to Google.

7. Transfer outside Israel

The providers listed above may hold data on servers outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States.

Submitting the form constitutes consent to the transfer and storage of the details on those servers, in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Regulations on transfer of data to databases abroad.

8. How long it is kept

An enquiry that does not lead to an engagement is kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.

An enquiry that becomes a client is kept for as long as needed to manage the engagement and to meet record-keeping and tax obligations.

You can ask for earlier deletion at any time — see the next section.

9. Your rights

Access. Under section 13 of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, any person is entitled to review information held about them.

Correction. Under section 14, a person who finds that information about them is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date may request that it be corrected or deleted.

Deletion. You may ask to delete your enquiry and the details in it, subject to retention duties under law.

Withdrawal of consent and removal from marketing — at any time, without giving a reason.

To exercise any of these: +972 54-425-7581 or maor65456@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days at most.

10. Direct marketing

Agreeing to the terms is not agreeing to marketing. These are two separate consents, and the marketing box on the form is not pre-ticked.

If you did not tick it, you will receive only a reply to your enquiry.

If you did, you may remove yourself at any time, by replying or contacting me directly, in accordance with section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law.

11. Security

Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to enquiries is password-protected and limited to Maor alone.

The form includes a trap against automated bot submissions.

No system is completely secure. Reasonable effort is made to protect the information, but absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

12. Cookies

The public site uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics tools.

A single functional cookie is created only when signing in to the admin panel — to which only Maor has access — and it is deleted when the browser closes.

13. Minors

The site is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Any such information found will be deleted.

14. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The binding version is the one published on the site, with its effective date shown at the top.

15. Complaints

If you believe your information has been misused you may contact me directly, and you may also file a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
